Help Index :: :: The easiest of dance techniques developed for combat, the wayward waltz is said to have been created by the legendary ogre bard of Denab-Knur, Ruckmog the Deaf. Ruckmog's passion for singing was only matched by his inability to carry a tune. Such a lack of skill did not endear him to his audiences, however, and he was so often chased out of towns and villages that he created this technique to help him outpace his pursuers. And so with some irony, his horrible singing voice and tone-deafness ensured his place in bardic histories forever. This is an automatic skill that can be toggled with the repertoire command (see 'help repertoire'). |
