Help Index :: Skills :: Scan SYNTAX scan : shows you the mobs in the neighboring rooms scan -o : set scan options including autoscan (see below) scan -s : omits the [Here] line scan -n : do not far scan (overrides scan option) scan -f : far scan (overrides scan option) scan -d : change the delimiter character that separates mob names in scan results DESCRIPTION Scan allows all classes to see mobs one square away in all directions. Rangers, thieves, legates, and warriors gain the ability to see 2 squares away at higher levels via the far scan skill. SCAN OPTIONS These options can be toggled by using the command 'scan -o '. For example to turn on autoscan, type 'scan -o Enable.Autoscan'. Enable.Autoscan : scan automatically when entering a room Autoscan.Far.Scans : use far scan when scanning automatically Scan.Far.Scans : always use far scan when typing 'scan' Autoscan.Towns : scan automatically in towns Autoscan.Current.Room : show [here] when automatically scanning Ignore.Wordwrap : ignore 'color columns' setting when scanning Scan.When.Looking : typing look will also scan as if you were autoscanning Autoscan.Shows.Empty : show 'nothing in the vicinity' when autoscanning
