Racial effects are innate abilities each race has upon being 'born'. Not
all racial effects are equal, nor were they intended to be. The
following are racial effects for the current races.

Human: sword proficiency
Gnome: darkvision
Elf: detect magic, bow proficiency
Dwarf: axe proficiency
Halfling: detect hidden
Ent: barkskin
Lizardmen: unarmed proficiency

Vyan: detect magic, bow proficiency
Ogre: mace proficiency, club proficiency
Troll: regeneration
Orc: infravision, spear proficiency
Goblin: dagger proficiency
