Help Index :: Shops :: melt SYNTAX melt [object] : asks a shopkeeper to melt an object into ingots DESCRIPTION This command requests a shopkeeper to melt and purify an object into one or more ingots. The fee for this service is 100 copper pieces per ingot resulting - use 'value [object]' to determine the price. Only certain shopkeepers will melt goods, and only some items can be melted - generally metal armor, but there are a few exceptions to this. Note that ingots weigh much less than the original object - melting and purifying metal is inefficient. See also: value, custom, metals
