Swearing is
not allowed on any channel outside of UChat, so please, be
considerate. We cannot monitor all channels so all players are responsible
for their own behavior and that of their fellows. If someone offends you, it
is up to you to speak up or contact an imm. We try but cannot be everywhere
at once, so be warned.

Uchat is an unmoderated chat channel. It is disabled by default for all
players. Before enabling it, see
help uchat.

For the purposes of rule enforcement, titles on the "who" list are considered
a public channel.

Using languages other than english on the channels will result in lost
gossip points.

For more information see the help files for each individual channel.
(i.e. help gossip)

Some channels are integrated with Discord. See 'help discord' for more
information.

ITEM STATS ON PUBLIC CHANNELS

Generally you should not discuss item statistics, pop locations, custom
components, quest details, etc. on public channels. The NEWBIE channel is
an exception to this rule. Additionally it is acceptable to ASK on public
channels if anyone will discuss an item with you PRIVATELY via tells.

Also you should not reveal information you can see, that others may not be
able to see, via spells or abilities such as detect magic on public channels
about items that are on the auction block.

The intent of these rules is to avoid spoiling the game to players that would
prefer to explore and discover the game without having information handed to
them while still allowing others a reasonable way to ask for help.
