Help Index :: Skills :: Aptitude

Your character's aptitude represents how many skill levels and practice points
you have attained vs how many you are capable of attaining at any given time.
You can view your current aptitude by using the
score command.

If your aptitude is low, you know little of what you are capable of learning
and might find it easier to improve your skills. If your aptitude is high,
you have learned most of, all of, or over what you are capable of. Characters
who have an aptitude greater than
Good will find that learning new things
becomes increasingly difficult.

Your aptitude can be affected by a variety of factors including your level,
intelligence, wisdom, skill levels attained, and practice points.

The aptitude scale is as follows: (from lowest to highest)

Dreadful
Awful
Poor
Mediocre
Fair
Average
Good
Excellent
Mastery
Genius
