Spells :: Poultice Class/Level: Ranger 66th Description: SYNTAX poultice : DESCRIPTION Those who possess the poultice skill can bestow enhanced physical recuperative powers on themselves and their injured comrades, including pets. The level of recuperative benefit received via a poultice is tied to the skill of the person applying said poultice. Poultices may be applied to multiple recipients, but each time the skill is used only one poultice is applied, and each recipient may only have one poultice at any given time. Like other bandaging skills, the recipient of a poultice must be resting or sleeping. Once a poultice is in place, standing or moving will dislodge it, causing its recuperative powers to cease. Creating a successful poultice requires three components: a suitable bandage, a thick leaf of aloe to imbue that bandage with healing properties, and sufficient magical energy to provide heat as the poultice is being applied to the recipient. There are few different items that can be used as bandages, some of these can be found in shops.
