Like its cousins poultice and salve, the compress must be applied to a subject in a resting or sleeping position. When the subject stands, the bandages fall off and the benefits are lost. Rangers and druids are adept at learning this skill, which requires a suitable bandage, some herbs, and a small amount of magical energy.
