Description:

A median spell, this causes the channeled power of your god to rip open
wounds on the target. If the victim fails a save vs magic they will take
a fair amount damage.

There is a slight symbiosis between this spell and the curse spell, and
knowledge of that spell benefits the caster of cause serious in two ways. The
base damage is slightly increased and there is a small chance that the victim
becomes cursed during the execution of the spell.

As with other spells in the cause series, evil-aligned clerics will do more
damage than neutral clerics, who will do more damage than good aligned clerics.
