Description:

A strong spell, this causes the channeled power of your god to rip open wounds
on the target. If the victim fails a save vs magic they will take a good
amount of damage.

There is a strong link between the magics used in this spell and the curse
spell. More proficiency with curse will lend to a higher base damage with
cause critical, and very often the victim will become strongly cursed.

As with other spells in the cause series, evil-aligned clerics will do more
damage than neutral clerics, who will do more damage than good aligned clerics.
